Washington softball team loses at Oskaloosa Saturday
It was a tough night for the Washington Demons, Saturday, July 8, as they traveled to Oskaloosa to play in the second game of the postseason.
However, their chances of moving one step closer to state ended as Oskaloosa won by a 1-7 score.
The Indians got on the board first as they scored a run in the second inning. Their next run wouldn?t cross the plate until the fourth, giving them a 2-0 lead.

However, their chances of moving one step closer to state ended as Oskaloosa won by a 1-7 score.
The Indians got on the board first as they scored a run in the second inning. Their next run wouldn?t cross the plate until the fourth, giving them a 2-0 lead.
Washington?s only run came in the top of the fifth inning, putting them down by a run, but Oskaloosa responded by scoring four runs in the bottom of the fifth, adding to their lead, and put up their final run in the sixth, securing their victory.
Washington ends their season with a 21-18 record.
