CENTERVILLE — Washington softball has been clicking as of late.
The Demons swept Keokuk on Monday night and Wednesday the Demons made it three in a row with a 5-4 victory over Centerville on the road.
Centerville led the Demons early in the contest, but Washington turned it on at the half way point to take control.

Washington didn’t stop there as they added two more in the fourth and one in the fifth to make it a 5-1 ballgame.
Centerville gave Washington quite the scare in the bottom of the fifth. The Big Reds scored three runs in their half of the fifth to bring it within one, but Washington was able to get out of the inning.
The Demons were able to hold the Big Reds scoreless in the final two innings to pick up the win.
