Washington takes 3rd at Falcon Relays

WEST BURLINGTON - Washington and WACO ran at a high school girls track meet Tuesday.

Washington placed third in Class A and WACO was fifth in Class B.

Ashley Telleen led the Demons with a victory in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.81 seconds. Telleen was second in the 400 hurdles in 1 minute, 16.27 seconds.

Jenah Greiner won the long jump with a distance of 15 feet, 9.5 inches, finished second in the 400 meters in 1 minute, 4.75 seconds and was fourth in the 200 in 28.09.

Isabel Bailey was sixth in the 100 with a time of 13.94. Ellie Anderson was sixth in the 800 with a time of 3:06.21.

Washington's 4x100 relay finished second in 52.62 with Leah Marek, Bailey, Greiner and Telleen.

Another second place was earned in the 4x8 with a time of 12:38.71 from Victoria Hinson, Grace Schiebel, Chloe Telleen, and Anderson.

The Demons' sprint medley team ran a 2:04.95 time with Demeri Bell, Liaden Fillinger, Leah Marek and Ashley Telleen to place third.

The 4x2 team of Fillinger, Olivia Marek, Cloe Telleen and Elyse Hunt placed fourth in 2:05.3.

The distance medley was also fourth, running a 5:37.16 with Kyleigh Dolan, Anderson, Victoria Hinson and Addison Six.

The fourth-place shuttle hurdle team ran a 1:23.87 time with Olivia Marek, Hunt, Fillinger and Dolan.

The 4x4 relay was fifth in 5:04.51 with Olivia Marek, Fillinger, Bailey and Chloe Telleen.

Bailey took fourth in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 4 inches.

For WACO, Grace Conwell won the 400 hurdles in 1:17.5 and the long jump at 14-4.25.

The shuttle hurdle also posted a win with a time of 1:18.78 by Laney Graber, Taylor Sammons, Maggie Rinner and Grace Conwell.

Morgan Graber (31.84) and Laney Graber (31.93) were fourth and fifth in the 200.

Sammons was fourth in the 100 hurdles in 19.12. Kaylee Shelman was fourth in the 100 in 15.23.

Shelman, Rinner, Morgan Graber and Ashleigh Hallet were third in the 4x2 in 2:03.98.

The 4x1 team of Shelman, Laney Graber, Amy Moran, and Hallett was fourth in 57.5.

The 4x4 ran a 5:26.11 time with Rinner, Jakayla Vradenberg, Moran and Morgan Graber to place fifth.

The sprint medley's time of 2:09.29 was fifth with Laney Graber, Shelman, Hallett, and Conwell.

The distance medley was sixth in 5:46.77 with Hallett, Moran, Morgan Graber and Vradenberg.
