Washington track teams to hold Run Down Cancer event
When the Washington girls? and boys? track and field teams host the Demon Relays on Thursday, April 4, it will also be Run Down Cancer night. The meet will begin at 5 p.m.
In conjunction with the track meet, there will be a bake sale, with all profits going to the American Cancer Society. T-shirts and pink shoelaces will also be sold to raise funds to fight cancer.

The meet is Washington?s Senior Night, and after the seniors are honored, cancer survivors or anyone wishing to honor someone who has suffered with cancer may take a lap around the Case Field track.
