WASHINGTON - An offensive line, talented receivers and an experienced quarterback helped Washington put a 62-12 shellacking on Oskaloosa at Case Field Friday in a high school football game.
The Demons never punted, scored on drives of 11 plays, five, four, one, seven and one to build a 42-12 halftime lead, then scored on their first offensive play of the second half to start the continuous clock. Luke Turner found four different receivers for touchdowns and ran for two himself.
