Washington wrestling wallops Keokuk, Warsaw

KEOKUK — The Washington wrestling team traveled to Keokuk for a business trip on Thursday night, and the Demons walked out with their second-straight Southeast Conference victory. Washington also collected a border war victory against Warsaw, Illinois.

Washington owned the night, blowing both squads out. The Demons upended Keokuk 62-18. They shut out Warsaw 66-0.

Washington took advantage of a handful of forfeits in both duals, but the Demons still picked up plenty of wins on the mats.

Against Keokuk, Washington had three pins. Lane Schrock (138), Fredy Aguilar (145) and Chase Greiner (160) all won by fall. Brayden Hartman won by decision, and Aaron Boone picked up a technical fall.

Washington had five pins against Warsaw. Greiner (170), Colley Billingsley (220), Hartman (285), Bryer Billingsly (12) and Jude Carter (138) all won by fall.
