WASHINGTON — Washington senior Emma Chenoweth is heading to William Penn.
The senior Demon signed her letter of intent to bowl for the Statesmen on Friday.
“I am so excited to be taking my bowling career to the next level,” Chenoweth said. “It’s hard to say goodbye to Demon bowling, but I’m so excited to be a Statesmen.”
Chenoweth says she chose William Penn not only because of bowling, but due to its small class sizes and being so close to home.
On a bowling team that had just three girls on this year’s roster, Chenoweth took the leader roll in stride, something that she will cherish forever.
“The best part of being a Demon has been making life long friends through bowling,” she said. “When they say bowling is one big family that is so true. I have made some of my best friends from other schools through the sport.”
While bowling for the Statesmen, Chenoweth will be studying Elementary Education.
