Washington's Miller named 3A Southeast District Coach of the Year
Washington head baseball coach Nathan Miller was selected as the Class 3A Southeast District Coach of the Year at Saturday?s Iowa Baseball Coaches Association Clinic, which was held in Des Moines.

Washington head baseball coach Nathan Miller was selected as the Class 3A Southeast District Coach of the Year at Saturday?s Iowa Baseball Coaches Association Clinic, which was held in Des Moines.
Miller took a young Washington squad that had lost seven seniors from its 2011 state tournament team and finished 22-15 with a return trip to Des Moines. The Demons also shared the Southeast Conference title with Mt. Pleasant and Fort Madison this past season.
?It?s a good team award,? Miller said.
Miller owns a record of 109-61 in five seasons as the head coach of his alma mater. He also coached IMS to a Class 1A state championship in 2007.
