WAYLAND — WACO track and cross-country stand out Avery Waterhouse signed her national letter of intent last week to run for the Statesmen of William Penn University.
Waterhouse has had a great career for the Warriors, which includes being a 4-year letter winner and holds top 10 rankings in three separate categories for WACO track.
She ranks 3rd in the 3000-meter with a time of 13 minutes and 49 seconds and 4th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:58.
Along with running for William Penn, Waterhouse will be studying nursing.
