Watson leads Van Buren boys

MEDIAPOLIS ? Spencer Watson continued his strong senior season for the Van Buren boys? track and field team Tuesday.

At the Mediapolis Bulldog Relays, Watson placed first in the long jump with a big 20-feet, 3-inch jump, third in the 100-meter dash (11.41) and ran on the 1600 medley and 4x100 relays. The medley team of Ryne Smith, Jacob Heisel, Watson and Zach Goodman placed third in 4:01.

Smith added a second-place result in the high jump, clearing 5?feet, 10inches.
