From the coach
“Mt. Pleasant is obviously a huge rival, so I don't think the boys are going to have trouble getting up for this game. Burlington had some really nice players and a good game plan, we just didn't execute like we needed to, but the good news is it's all fixable. Looking forward to a very competitive game. Mt. Pleasant has very nice skill players and their quarterback throws a good ball.” — Nic Ehret

From the coach
“The best way to get over losing to Fairfield is to beat Washington. A loss is always tough, but I think we learned a lot about our kids — they’re willing to fight and do whatever it takes. In battles with Washington, it didn’t matter who the better team was, it was going to be a dogfight until the end.” — Shawn Striegel
