Week 2 AP football rankings
The Associated Press released its first Iowa prep football rankings of the 2012 season Monday.
Pekin finds itself ranked No. 10 in Class A just in time for its Week 2 rivalry matchup vs. Sigourney-Keota. Keokuk received four votes as the only Class 3A District 7 team represented. Albia and Davis County, Class 2A teams on Fairfield?s schedule, have each earned a few votes following Week 1 victories.
