From the coach
“Our defense played phenomenal getting the shut out against our rival and that first win. Offensively we were better from Week 1 as we moved the ball well. CCA is a very good team. They have an athletic QB in Ben Swails who makes a lot of things happen with his arm and legs. They have some athletic skill players, RB Gage Freeman and WR Harrison Rosenberg are certainly threats that we have to try and contain. We need to play our best game Friday if we are going to come out with a win.” — Nic Ehret

“Washington does a lot of different things on offense, which makes them tough to prepare for. QB Patterson is a very nice player, impressed with his ability to run and throw. He keeps a lot of plays alive for his team. He will run some option and zone read, so that will require us to be disciplined in our assignments. We try to keep the defense off balance using different formations and motions. We are very specific in what we try to do to be successful.” — Matt Haddy
