From the coach
“We work with our kids each week to learn from the prior game, and then we push hard to turn the page quickly. It’s important that, by Sunday, our kids are focused on that week’s opponent and that we (as coaches) settle in to our normal game week routine. Routine doesn’t change much based on who we play — we have to focus on OUR plan, and make sure we are ready to execute at the highest level.
“Solon is a very well coached, disciplined and fast football team. They are very talented and smart football players, and I believe their biggest strength is their ability to capitalize on their opponents mistakes.”— Nate Weaton

From the coach
“We must respect Fairfield. They are well-coached, much improved, have a good RB, a capable athlete at QB and do some nice things on offense that fit their personnel. Defensively, they play hard, that's very evident from the film. They don't do a lot, they just are trying to do what they do and do it very well.”— Lucas Stanton
