Weidman wins Columbus meet
It was another strong meet for the Demon boys? golf team on Tuesday afternoon, as Blake Weidman stepped up to win the individual portion of the meet.
Weidman put together a round of 36 at Cedarcrest Country Club to lead all competitors in the boys? meet, as Washington had a team score of 152 to win the team portion of the meet over Mid-Prairie and Columbus.

It was another strong meet for the Demon boys? golf team on Tuesday afternoon, as Blake Weidman stepped up to win the individual portion of the meet.
Weidman put together a round of 36 at Cedarcrest Country Club to lead all competitors in the boys? meet, as Washington had a team score of 152 to win the team portion of the meet over Mid-Prairie and Columbus.
Behind Weidman?s 36, freshman Dalton Myers and sophomore Mason Rich each carded 37s for the Demons, while junior Derek Anding had a 42 for the meet.
Sophomore Tanner Coleman had a 44 and Noah Enfield had a 47 to round out Washington?s varsity team.
In the junior varsity portion of the meet, Aaron Vittetoe and Jack Redlinger had 47s and Wil Marek and Kyle Fishback had 59s for Washington.
Columbus took second at the meet with a team score of 167.
Chase Finke led the team with a 37, while Dalton Bright had a 41, Ethan Leyden carded a 43 and Ryan Orr had a 46.
Mitchell Griffin had a 47 for the Wildcats and John Rees had a 49 to round out the varsity scores.
Mid-Prairie?s team score of 210 put them in third at the triangular, as they were led by Duncan McCain?s 48.
Michael Callahan and Seth Mann each carded 56s, while Zach Owens, Ethan Danner and Collin Gingerich each had a 56 for the Hawks.
