Wesleyan releases volleyball schedule

MT. PLEASANT — Fans of the Iowa Wesleyan volleyball team will be playing close to home early on in the 2022 season. The schedule was released in late July, and the Tigers will be in the state of Iowa for their first nine regular season games.

Iowa Wesleyan will begin the regular season on Aug. 30 against Mount Mercy University. Three days prior to that the Tigers will play a pair of scrimmage games in Monmouth Illinois.

The following weekend, the Tigers will be in Oskaloosa for the William Penn Labor Day Tournament.

From Sept. 6 to Sept. 13, the Tigers will play four nonconference home games.

Continental Athletic Conference play doesn’t begin until October. Iowa Wesleyan’s first league games will be at the CAC Classic in Paragould, Arkansas.
