Wesleyan’s White named CAC Golfer of Week
Former Mt. Pleasant prep earns conference honor
MT. PLEASANT — Former Mt. Pleasant prep and current Iowa Wesleyan athlete Trace White was named the Continental Athletic Conference’s Golfer of the Week on Monday after a strong stretch in a pair of tournaments.
On April 11, White led the Tigers to a third-place finish at the William Penn Invitational, shooting a 75 for second place overall. On April 14, White tied for 14th place at the Mount Mercy Spring Classic, shooting an 83.
White, a 2020 Mt. Pleasant graduate has been a top player on the Tiger men’s golf team all season.
The Tiger men were in Iowa City on Thursday for their last regular season tournament. They’ll host the CAC tournament in Burlington on May 2.
