Wester signs with Missouri Western
Mt. Pleasant Community High School senior Emmett Wester signed his letter of intent this morning to attend Missouri Western State University and play football for the Griffons next season.

Mt. Pleasant Community High School senior Emmett Wester signed his letter of intent this morning to attend Missouri Western State University and play football for the Griffons next season.
Wester joins his brother, Leonard Wester, who was a redshirt freshman on the MWSU football team this season. The Griffons went 10-1 in the regular season and won two playoff games before falling in the NCAA DII division final.
Wester, who competed in football, wrestling and track at Mt. Pleasant, plans to major in accounting. He looks forward to playing for a successful team alongside his brother. ?They have a great program, a great everything,? he said. ?I?m very excited, and look forward to playing good competition at the next level.?
