Westphal-Edwards in All-Star meet

Washington state champion Tristin Westphal-Edwards will be in the circle on the wrestling mats one more time in his high school career.

The 40th annual North/South All-Star wrestling meet hosted by the Charles City Mat Club in conjunction with the Iowa National Guard is planned for Saturday Apr. 13 at 6 p.m. in the Charles City High School ne gymnasium. tickets will be available at the door for $10.

Senior state champions and place finishers from all over the state come together for one last match in their high school career.

Meets in the past have seen many future All-Americans, NCAA champions and even Olympic medal winners.

Westphal-Edwards, who won his title this season at 182 pounds, will wrestle Tucker Kroeze of Belmond-Klemme. Kroeze finished third in Class 1A at 182 this season.
