Wetherald is player of the week
Iowa Wesleyan College?s Kelly Wetherald (Fr.-Homer Glen, Ill.) has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women?s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as the conference announced its weekly honors on Monday.

Iowa Wesleyan College?s Kelly Wetherald (Fr.-Homer Glen, Ill.) has been named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Women?s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as the conference announced its weekly honors on Monday.
Wetherald scored two game-winning goals as the Tigers won two matches last week to improve to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in MCC play. Her first game winning goal against William Penn University on Tuesday came in a must win game for the Tigers. She converted off of a free kick inside the box in the second half of play.
The freshman forward also scored the game-winning goal on Saturday against Mount Mercy University in the final six minutes of play.
