Wildcat cross-country teams take third, fourth in Cedar Rapids
The Columbus girls? cross-country team took third place and the Wildcat boys finished fourth in the Gold Division of Saturday?s Cedar Rapids Prairie Invitational.

?We had a good first meet,? Columbus head coach Steve Riley said. ?The competition couldn?t have been tougher, and we think it makes us a better team as the season goes on. I was happy with most of the races, and we have some things to work on.?
Monticello won both the boys? and girls? team races. The Monticello boys are the defending Class 2A state champions.
