Wildcats' win streak comes to an end
Van Buren topped Columbus 57-54 in overtime of Friday?s Southeast Iowa Super Conference Shootout game, bringing the Wildcats? eight-game winning streak to an end.
Senior Caitlin Chaney scored 13 points to lead the Wildcats (13-8). Senior Megan Pretz added 12 points and 13 rebounds, and junior Martha Anaya had 12 points and seven assists. Sophomore Kelsey Pretz chipped in 10 points and four assists.

Senior Hannah Haynes had a triple-double of 29 points, 17 rebounds and 12 blocks to lead the Warriors (16-5). Sophomore Kaitlyn Johnson added 18 points.
