William H. ?Bill? Farr

William H. ?Bill? Farr, 72, of Mt. Pleasant, died on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Arbor Court, in Mt. Pleasant.

Private family services will be held at a later date with burial of his ashes in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call to sign the guest book on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, from 2 until 6 p.m., at the Murphy Funeral Home, of Mt. Pleasant. Cremation has been entrusted to the Murphy Funeral Home.

Farr was born on Dec. 24, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Harold and Maxine Schadt Farr. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He was united in marriage to Linda Simmons. They later divorced.

He worked for Blue Bird Midwest until the closing of the plant in 2002.

Farr is survived by his children, Brian (Carol) Farr; Craig ?Doug? Farr; Lynette ?Charley? (Will Lyon) Farr, and Marla Farr, all of Mt. Pleasant; and Tara (Steve) Hillyer, of Middletown; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-grandchild; and his brother.
