Williamsburg gets past Trojan freshmen, JV
After Dillon Fry?s nine-yard touchdown strike to Alex Love put the Fairfield freshman team up 8-7 Friday, Williamsburg?s Chance Miller scored three unanswered touchdown?s to give the Raiders a 28-8 victory.
Miller returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown in the final seconds of the third quarter, busted a 35-yard touchdown run and also returned an interception all the way back in the fourth. The loss is Fairfield?s

After Dillon Fry?s nine-yard touchdown strike to Alex Love put the Fairfield freshman team up 8-7 Friday, Williamsburg?s Chance Miller scored three unanswered touchdown?s to give the Raiders a 28-8 victory.
Miller returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown in the final seconds of the third quarter, busted a 35-yard touchdown run and also returned an interception all the way back in the fourth. The loss is Fairfield?s first of the season and first since losing to Williamsburg last season.
For Fairfield, Fry ended up 9-19 passing for 133 yards hitting six different receivers. Spencer Peterman hauled in three catches for 39 yards, Seth Davisson and Love had two, and Kyle Weirup, Mason Carnahan and Justin Hammes each had one reception.
Jacob Mineart led the defense with 10 tackles, including four for a loss, followed by five apiece from Aaron Gevock and Austin Deao while Davisson and Love each gathered four.
Fairfield will play again this Friday on the road against Clear Creek Amana.
Fairfield JV loses at Williamsburg
The Fairfield JV football team dropped a 49-13 game at Williamsburg Monday night.
Trojan points came from a 92-yard kickoff return from Zach Vivier and a 63-yard pass play from Corbin Harwood to Braz Johnson.
Offensive leaders for Fairfield were Vivier rushing for 40 yards on 10 carries, Davis Lowenberg picking up 33 yards on eight carries and Spencer Peterman adding a 13 yard reception. Lowenberg also blocked a punt and led the defense with six tackles followed by five from Austin Deao.
