WINFIELD — Another week goes by and another week that the Winfield-Mt. Union girls are in the Iowa Girls High School Basketball Rankings.
In this weeks’ list, released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, the Wolves, who were previously rated No. 11 are now inside the top 10 at No. 10.
Last week was a big week for the Wolves as they not only stayed undefeated, but took down the previous No. 13 team in Class 2A in Mediapolis in dominating fashion. The Wolves topped the Bullets 54-38.
