Winter storm halts area prep schedule
Today?s Southeast Conference wrestling dual between Fairfield and Washington has been postponed to Jan. 26 in Washington.
Tuesday?s freshman, JV and varsity girl/boy basketball double-header vs. Albia has also been rescheduled for Jan. 26 due to inclement weather. The six-game slate will take place at both FMS and FHS gyms.
Pekin?s girl/boy basketball doubleheader at WACO has been rescheduled as a home game for

Today?s Southeast Conference wrestling dual between Fairfield and Washington has been postponed to Jan. 26 in Washington.
Tuesday?s freshman, JV and varsity girl/boy basketball double-header vs. Albia has also been rescheduled for Jan. 26 due to inclement weather. The six-game slate will take place at both FMS and FHS gyms.
Pekin?s girl/boy basketball doubleheader at WACO has been rescheduled as a home game for Saturday beginning at 6 p.m.
Tonight?s wrestling meet with the Panthers hosting New London/Winfield-Mount Union and Van Buren has not yet been rescheduled.
A make-up date has net been set for Van Buren (@ Burlington-Notre Dame), Cardinal (@ Holy Trinity) and Maharishi School basketball (@ West Burlington) games postponed from Tuesday.
