WMS runners wrap up season
The Washington Middle School cross-country team wrapped up its season last Thursday afternoon at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
Evan Horak had a strong race in the two-mile run, posting a time of 11:08, while coming in second place, five seconds behind meet winner Steven Durr from Ottumwa.

The Washington Middle School cross-country team wrapped up its season last Thursday afternoon at the Washington Golf and Country Club.
Evan Horak had a strong race in the two-mile run, posting a time of 11:08, while coming in second place, five seconds behind meet winner Steven Durr from Ottumwa.
Matthew Collett finished with a 13:59, Michael Kimball had a 14:27, Caleb tanner finished with a 15:07, Johnathan Bartholomew had a 15:25, Joseph Garcia took a time of 15:45.
On the girls? side of the two-mile race, Halle Leyden took eighth place at the meet, running a 13:39, followed by Trina Griffin?s 13th-place with a
14:23.
Aliva Emry ran a 14:45, followed by Kellie Dallmeyer?s 14:57 and Audrey Wubbena?s 15:29.
