WMS wrestles well at home meet
It was another successful meet for the Washignton junior high wrestlers on Tuesday night when they hosted Fort Madison and Ottumwa on Tuesday night.
The Demons went 19-8 as a team and picked up 11 pins on the night, improving them to a team record of 109-53 and 80 pins.
Walker and Garrett Ikerd each went 2-0, along with Ben Bohr, Brennan Murphy, Logan Escher, Justin Simmering, Dylan Farmer and Dillan Sanders.

Tristan Westphal-Edwards went 1-0 on the night, while David Hora and Matt Collett each picked up one win.
The young Demons will hit the home stretch of the season starting next week, when they travel to Fort Madison on Tuesday and Mt. Pleasant the next Friday.
The regular season will close on Feb. 3 with a home meet, before hosting AAU Districts on Feb. 8.
