Wolves cruise past Louisa-Muscatine

WINFIELD - The Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team made quick work of Louisa-Muscatine on Thursday night. The Wolves breezed by the Falcons in three straight sets, taking it 25-12, 25-11 and 25-12.

Jenna Buffington led the team with 21 kills in the win. Madie Anderson finished with six kills. Liana Sweezer and Kyndal Townsley had three kills apiece. Jami Wilkerson finished with two, and Kayla Edwards had one.

Edwards led the team with 33 assists. Townsley had 19 digs. Buffington finished with 13 digs, and Wilkerson had 10.

The Wolves were 67-74 serving the ball and tallied 11 aces in the win. Townsley had five of those aces. Buffington finished with three. Carlee Sloan had two, and Sabrina Moody had one.
