Wolves dodge Arrows
WAPELLO - It was all Winfield-Mt. Union in the Wolves' Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division road game against Wapello on Tuesday night. The Wolves swept the Arrows in three sets, winning 25-13, 25-21 and 25-19.
W-MU was led by a 20-kill performance by Jenna Buffington. Bradie Buffington and Melina Oepping added seven kills apiece. Emma Haines had five, and Jami Wilkerson and Keely Malone tallied four each.
Malone finished the day with 18 assists. Kayla Edwards ended the night with 12. Keetyn Townsley led the defense with 18 digs, and Kyndal Townsley had 17 digs of her own.
