Wolves fall at HTC

FT. MADISON - The Winfield-Mt. Union boys basketball team dropped a Southeast Iowa Super Conference shootout game at Holy Trinity on Friday night, falling 41-33.
The Wolves led 8-7 after one quarter of play, but Holy Trinity took a 23-15 lead into halftime after a 16-point second quarter. The two teams split the final two quarters 18-18.
Jared Arnold led the Wolves with eight points and seven rebounds. Ty Yocum had seven points and two blocked shots. Christian Gerot had seven points of his own.
Juanito Piper ended the night with five points. Bryce Wade scored three. Daunte Oepping had two points anid five assists, and Dawson Bergthold had one.
