Wolves fall to Wapello
WAPELLO ? The Winfield-Mt. Union golf teams were swept in a meet against Wapello on Tuesday. The boys? team lost, 181-189, and the girls? team dropped a 226-207 decision.
The W-MU boys were led by Jake Edwards with a 41. He was followed by Brody Heying and Klayton Booth, each with a 48. Eric Spencer shot a 52 to finish the team score.

Thayne McElhinney and Lucas Rappenecker also golfed for the Wolves, with McElhinney shooting a 58 and Rappenecker shooting a 63.
For the girls? team, Tori Brandmeyer led with a 52. She was followed by Grace Edwards with a 55 and Rachel Anderson with a 59. Kassidy McLaughlin?s 61 rounded out the team score.
Kelsie Wade and Lauren Baker also golfed for the Wolves. Wade shot a 63 in the meet and Baker had a score of 66.
W-MU will golf again on Monday when they host Louisa-Muscatine at 3 p.m. at Twin Lakes Golf Course.
