The Southeast Iowa Super Conference released its all-conference boys basketball list shortly after the 2024 state basketball tournaments wrapped up.
The SEISC had two teams make the state tourney. North Division champion Winfield-Mount Union made the Class 1A semifinals, and West Burlington made the Class 2A quarterfinals.
WMU had the most players listed in the North Division. The Wolves had six players honored, including a pair of first teamers.
Cam Buffington and Abram Edwards were both named to the SEISC North first team. Buffington was named SEISC North Player of the Year.
Also earning first team nods were WACO’s Colton Leichty and Hunter Hughes, Columbus’ Tim Hills-Carrier, Pekin’s JaeDon Wolver and Hillcrest Academy’s Seth Ours.
The Union area didn’t have any first teamers on the South Division side. Both New London and Van Buren County had one player on the South Division second team, as both Brendan Richey and Izaak Loeffler were named.
