Wolves maintain ranking

Area team Winfield Mt. Union maintained its No. 9 rank in Class 1A while Sigourney fell out and was replaced by fellow South Iowa Cedar League's Lynnville-Sully. Montezuma is sixth.

West Burlington, which is up a spot in 3A,and Notre Dame, which right behind the Wolves for the third consecutive week, joined WMU as ranked Super Conference teams.

In Class 2A, West Branch and Cascade are ranked third and 12th respectively. Fellow River Valley Conference teams in the poll are Monticello and West Liberty in Class 3A. Monticello replaces Sioux City Bishop Heelan at the No. 15 spot. West Liberty moves from No. 11 to No. 9.
