Wolves stay steady in rankings

Released Thursday, the sixth rankings of the 2020-21 girls basketball season by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union did not reveal much change. The first rankings of 2021 were not much different from the last rankings of 2020.

Winfield-Mt. Union was still 11th in Class 1A and fellow Southeast Iowa Super Conference member Notre Dame was still at No. 13. West Burlington did rise two spots to seventh in Class 3A.

South Iowa Cedar League members Montezuma and North Mahaska stayed even at Nos. 9 and 14 respectively.

River Valley Conference member West Branch climbed a spot to No. 3 in Class 2A while Bellevue stayed at 13. West Liberty dropped to No. 9 in Class 3A.
