Yoder sets school record

Suzanna Yoder broke her own school record of most points in a single game Thursday in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division girls basketball game in Kalona.
In area boys games, Iowa Mennonite School (10-5 overall, 9-5 North) downed Highland (9-6, 7-5) 61-56. Lone Tree beat Columbus 74-30.
Notre Dame 61, WACO 54
In this boys South Division game, the Warriors (12-4 overall, 7-4 South) lost on the road.
Gabe Reichenbach and Drew Kissell each hit for 12 points while Nik Coble had 17.
WACO trailed by as many as 17 in the third quarter, but got within 53-50 in the fourth.
Iowa Mennonite School 63, Highland 61
Yoder poured in 45 points, pulled in 11 rebounds, got three steals and dished out three assists in the victory. Teammate Yani Guiterrez added nine points and seven rebounds. Rubye Ney chipped in four points and six rebounds.
Highland led 14-10 after one quarter, but IMS led 30-24 at halftime. Highland led 42-39 entering the last quarter.
IMS is 8-10, 6-9 North. Highland is 12-7, 9-4.
Notre Dame 52, WACO 39
The Warriors lost the South Division road game.
Aubri Garnsey and Nadiyah Brown each went for 11 points in the loss.
WACO is 6-12, 3-9.
WACO led 15-10 and 28-24 after each of the first two quarters, but trailed 38-32 starting the fourth.
Lone Tree 65, Columbus 31
The Wildcats lost the road North Division game.
