Dysart’s Main Street will host “Wine with the Witches” Thursday, Oct. 20. Shops are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with a witchy dance performance at 6 p.m. Local food vendors will be on site.

Belle Plaine Halloween

Trunk or Treat on Main Street will be held Sunday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. The event will be hosted by the Belle Plaine Community Development Corporation and sponsored by Chelsea Savings Bank/Victor State Bank, MidWestOne Bank and Belle Plaine Chevrolet Buick. More details will follow, closer to the event.

Kids’ night at the Deranged Haunted Attraction will be from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30.

Trick-or-treat in Belle Plaine is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.

Benton County Food Pantries

The Vinton Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Belle Plaine Pantry is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:30 to 4 p.m. In addition, the HACAP Mobile Pantry is in Belle Plaine at the Community Center on the last Wednesday of the month from noon to 1 p.m.
