Celebration Place Brighton

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered process, using proven, Scriptural steps, for recovery from hurts, habits and hangups in our lives. The Brighton group has been holding weekly public meetings for two years, and at the beginning of its third year, is pleased to publicly announce the addition of Celebration Place, an uplifting, hope-filled, children’s companion to Celebrate Recovery for 5 to 13 year-olds whose parents are taking the hard step of resolving their pain and moving forward in life.

Celebration Place helps the children avoid cycles of hurts, hang-ups, and habits using language and experiences to understand what’s happening in their homes. It entails a 52-week program that mirrors the Celebrate Recovery one-year, large group teaching schedule and curriculum plan This means that while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, their kids are discovering the same truths in age-appropriate ways

Celebration Place Brighton is taught by preschool teacher Brenda Miles and is conducted the same time and place as the weekly CR Brighton meetings, every Thursday at the Brighton Church of God beginning at 6 p.m., with a free meal. Childcare for younger children is also available. All adults are welcome to Celebrate Recovery and all children ages 5-13 are welcome to Celebration Place.

There will be a Celebration Place Brighton Grand Opening launch party Thursday, Nov. 21, at Brighton Church of God, 6 p.m. National Celebration Place founder John Baker says, “The Celebration Place dream is to put Celebrate Recovery out of business by breaking the cycles of dysfunction in our families.”
