The family of the late David Henry and Betty Davis held their annual Christmas Eve dinner and celebration at the Crawfordsville Legion Hall. Those who wished to attended services at The United Church of Crawfordsville and those who didn’t took part in intense games of cards while the children opened their new gifts. Santa (Sanford Rugg) handed out the gifts to all the great-grandchildren of David Henry and Betty.
In attendance were: Janet and Ernie Whiting and Alyson Whiting; Steve and Pam Davis; Kimberly and Patrick Farrell and Henry; Mindy and Jerry Driscoll, Blaine, Wyatt and Olivia; Eric and Jes Davis, Javan, Jaxon and Jayda; Ann and Duane Lewis; Alisha and Levi Kelley, Cecil and Leah; Emily Boylan, Ryleigh and Avery; Scott and Jeanne Davis; Angela and Amber Davis and Rebecca Buelna; Ryan and Carman Davis, Peyton and Paxton; Marcus and Brittany Davis, Makinley, Brysen and Merrick; Jill and Randy DeYarman; Joanie Kanneburg, Luna, Eve and Jack; Nancy and Sanford Rugg; Chelsea Rugg; Clarissa Rugg and Uriah and Shannon Rugg and Sawyer.
Joe and Alice Hochstetler spent four days in Indiana with their families celebrating Christmas. They also celebrated the birth and adoption of Grady Nolan to Matt and Ilona Roberts of Milford, IN. He was born Dec. 23, 2019 and weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was able to go home on Christmas Day.
Eight were present for the 11:30 a.m. luncheon meeting of the Wyman Community Club on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Ainsworth Four Corners.
Attending were: Patricia Jones, John Wittrig and Laura Wittrig of Winfield; Jane Kacziniski of Washington; Pauline Richardson, Frieda Finke, Ruth Erwin and Billie Jo Rose of Crawfordsville.
