Washington library begins curbside delivery

On Monday, May 18, the Washington Public Library began curbside pick up in front of the library as a first phase of reopening the library.

Books and movies can be ordered beginning tomorrow by calling the library at 653-2726. For this initial phase of reopening, each patron may check out two books or audio books and two DVDs. Magazines and newspapers will not be circulating at this time. Upon reservation, the books will be put on a table outside the library at your designated pickup time.

“We look forward to slowly re-opening the library safely over the next couple of months,” said director Bryna Walker.
