WASHINGTON COUNTY – The Washington County Dispatch Center received a call on Sept. 12 of a feed truck on fire between Washington and Riverside. An unknown male subject was later transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The call log shows that sometime before 11 a.m. that day, a male subject was seen at 2659 170th Street about 5 miles southwest of Riverside lying on the ground in power lines near a truck that was on fire. Riverside QRS, Riverside Fire, Kalona Fire and Eastern Iowa Light and Power responded to the incident. Other emergency were later called off, and they were AirCare, Washington Fire and Ainsworth Fire. The male subject was transported to the hospital and arrived at 11:06 a.m.
