Horse show kicks off Greater Jefferson County Fair

A judge addresses participants of the horse show Tuesday, June 23, at the Greater Jefferson County Fair in Fairfield. The horse show kicks off the fair every year, and this year was no exception. What was different about this year is that members of the public were not allowed in the audience unless they were family members of the participants, a change designed to limit crowd size and slow the spread of COVID-19. Signs around the fairgrounds reminded visitors to “socially distance” themselves from one another. (Union photo by Andy Hallman)
