A caller Friday night at Melrose Avenue in Iowa City reported locating a subject who was wanted out of Washington County. Jennifer Paige Smallwood, 24, of Washington, was arrested on two Washington County warrants: one warrant for possession of controlled substance – marijuana first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia, with bond set at $800 cash only; and one warrant for attempted third-degree burglary vehicle/vessel, with bond set at $1,000 cash only. Total bond was $1,800 cash only. Two Washington County officers met a Johnson County deputy at the cheese factory and transported the subject to the Washington County Jail. The warrant was cleared from the system.
A caller Friday night at Main Street in Crawfordsville reported that a vehicle had been parked near the bank and the church since Monday without being moved. There were no plates on the front or back. It was a green-colored Buick Regal. An officer tagged the vehicle and planned to check back on Saturday.
An officer reported being out with a vehicle, early Saturday morning at E Avenue in Kalona. The officer spoke with the subjects and advised that everything was OK.
An officer reported being out with a disabled vehicle parked the wrong way, Friday morning at Maple Avenue in Kalona. The vehicle was unoccupied.
An officer reported being out with a vehicle that was pulled over on the side of the road, Thursday afternoon at Riverside Road and 220th Street in Washington. Everything was fine. The subject pulled over to take a phone call.
A caller Friday morning at Ginkgo Avenue in Wellman reported a deer in the northbound lane on Ginkgo Avenue. An officer responded and removed the animal from the roadway.
A caller Friday afternoon at Highway 1 and 190th Street in Washington reported an injured raccoon in the middle of the road. An officer responded. The animal was deceased already.
A caller early Saturday morning at Highway 218 in Riverside reported a cow on the shoulder of Highway 218. Two officers responded and made contact with the owner. The animal was put back in its gate.
An officer reported being out with three subjects at Central Park, early Saturday morning at West Washington Street in Washington. An additional officer also responded. Subjects were playing Pokemon Go, and were advised of park hours.

A caller Friday night at North Marion Avenue in Washington reported that neighbors to the west were playing loud music. An officer responded and made contact with the neighbors, who had already shut off the music. They were advised of the complaint.
Family offense nonviolent
A caller Friday night at South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported that her husband was being belligerent and was in a verbal argument with her. City units responded. Both parties calmed down, and the male subject advised that he was going to bed for the night.
A caller Friday morning at East Madison Street in Brighton reported being harassed and threatened by her ex-husband. An officer spoke with the caller. Documentation was made.
A caller Friday night at East Madison Street in Washington reported that her son had not arrived home from work. An officer responded. The juvenile was entered into the system as missing.
Sexual child abuse
Dispatch received a report of a possible sexual child abuse case that occurred approximately three weeks earlier in Washington County, Friday morning at Lexington Boulevard in Washington. An officer spoke with the caller.
A caller Friday night at Seventh Street in Kalona reported that a suspicious package was delivered to his residence. An officer responded. Everything was fine with the package.
An officer reported being out with a vehicle at the fairgrounds, early Saturday morning at Highway 1 in Washington. Everything was fine. They were just picking up a vehicle that they left parked at that location.
A caller Friday night at East Second Street in Washington reported that the neighboring children were on her porch in their underwear, ringing her doorbell. An officer responded and spoke with all parties involved.
A caller Friday night at Highway 218 in Ainsworth reported a male subject walking on Highway 218. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate the subject. Another caller reported that the subject was by Mile Marker 73 on Highway 218, trying to flag people down. An officer located the subject and gave him a ride to the Riverside Travel Mart.

A caller Friday morning at North Grant Street in Crawfordsville reported vandalism and stolen property from a rental property that a subject was evicted from. An officer spoke with the caller, who had a suspect. The suspect advised that cabinet doors were removed when they were living together in the home and renovating the property.
A caller Friday morning at Lexington Boulevard in Washington reported a violation of a no-contact order via text messages. An officer responded. Charges are pending for violation of a no-contact order.
A caller early Saturday morning at South 11th Avenue and East Tyler Street in Washington reported juveniles who were possibly drinking. An officer responded and was unable to locate the party.
