Mt. Pleasant webinars will help with college enrollment

The Mt. Pleasant High School will be hosting a Zoom meeting Thursday, March 11, at 5 p.m. for college class enrollment.

Those students who have not taken online or on-site college classes before will need to attend with a parent or guardian in order to register for college classes for the fall semester or future semesters. The Zoom link will be sent to student emails that Thursday, March 11.

In addition to the college class enrollment meeting, the Mt. Pleasant High School Student Services office will host a virtual career/college planning and financial aid night for students and their parents/guardians. The webinar will take place at 6 p.m. on Zoom, and it will cover a multitude of aspects regarding college: admission process and requirements, college selection and campus visits, the application process, understanding scholarships, grants, and student loans, filling out FAFSA and successful transitions to college.

A representative from the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. To attend please register in advance for this webinar at
