Parade honoring FHS seniors rescheduled to June 5

FAIRFIELD — The parade being planned to honor Fairfield High School seniors has been rescheduled from May 22 to June 5.

The parents organizing the parade consulted with state authorities and learned that parades would not be allowed until May 28 at the earliest, which prompted the rescheduling.

The parade will take place at 6 p.m. It will start at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, visit Pence Elementary, Fairfield Middle School, SunnyBrook Living Care Center, Washington Elementary School, then go west on Broadway to the downtown, and end by returning to the fairgrounds.
