Vehicle accident

Sept. 17 — 6:32 a.m., a traffic accident was reported at Riverside Road and 230th Street, Washington. Jesse Rutherford, of Washington, was cited for no insurance (accident related).

Sept. 17 — 7:03 a.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 2100 block of 140th Street, Kalona. Jackson Tobias Gracey, of Wellman, was cited for no insurance (accident related).

Sept. 17 — 8:27 p.m., a traffic accident was reported in the 3100 block of Highway 22, Riverside. Carmen Sue Evans, 57, of the 200 block of North Highland Street, North English, was arrested for operating while intoxicated (first offense).

Citation

Sept. 17 — 1:44 p.m., Tom Randall Harmon, 39, of the 300 block of North Marshall Street, Burlington, was cited in the 1000 block of West Burlington Avenue, for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.

Arrest

Sept. 17 — 3:34 p.m., Jamie Allen Beeson, 46, of the 2500 block of Onawa Street, Des Moines, was arrested in the Polk County Jail on a warrant.

Sept. 17 — 5:56 p.m., Jacob David Stoltzfoos, 26, of the 700 block of South C Avenue, Washington, was arrested at North 13th Avenue and East Main Street, Washington, on a warrant.

Sept. 18 — 12:16 a.m., Jesse Alan Rutherford, 31, of the 1800 block of West Main Street, Washington, was arrested at Coppock Road and 325th Street, Washington, and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assault

Sept. 17 — 8 a.m., assault was reported in the 300 block of South Fourth Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 17 — 11:09 a.m., assault was reported in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard, Washington.

Sept. 17 — 7:31 p.m., assault was reported in the 1600 block of South Iowa Avenue, Washington.

Sept. 17 — 1:10 p.m., assault was reported in the 200 block of East Washington, Mt. Pleasant.

Harassment

Sept. 17 — 5:34 p.m., intimidation/harassment was reported in the 100 block of Main Street, Richland.

Sept. 17 — 4:04 p.m., harassment/threats was reported in the 300 block of North Hamlin Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Burglary

Sept. 17 — 4:22 a.m., attempted burglary was investigated in the 500 block of North Fourth Street, Fairfield.

Theft

Sept. 17 — 9:18 a.m., theft of a dog in a cage was reported in the 300 block of West Monroe Street, Washington.

Sept. 17 — 5:06 p.m., theft of an air conditioner was reported in the 2800 block of Yucca Avenue, Crawfordsville.

Sept. 17 — 9:17 a.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 600 block of East Adams Street, New London.

Sept. 17 — 1:33 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 2300 block of 120th Street, Winfield.

Sept. 17 — 3:03 p.m., theft/larceny/shoplifting was reported in the 200 block of East Washington Street, Mt. Pleasant.

Drugs

Sept. 17 — 10:04 a.m., drug/narcotics violation was reported in the 1100 block of South B Avenue, Washington. Charges are pending per DCI lab results.

Sept. 17 — 10:28 a.m., controlled substance was reported in the 900 block of West Harrison Avenue, Fairfield.

Sept. 17 — 12:08 p.m., a controlled substance was reported in the 400 block of West Burlington Avenue, Fairfield.

Missing person

Sept. 17 — 11:52 a.m., a missing person/runaway was reported in the 1000 block of North Grand Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.

Sept. 17 — 3:59 p.m., a missing person/runaway was reported in the 400 block of West Adams Street, New London.

Sept. 17 — 8:20 a.m., a missing person/other was reported in the 400 block of North Fourth Street, Fairfield.

Sex offense

Sept. 17 — 6:55 p.m., sex offenses were reported at North Main Street and Grimes Avenue, Fairfield.

Fire

Sept. 17 — 12:19 p.m., a controlled burn was reported in the 2100 block of Henry Jefferson Avenue, Mt. Pleasant.
