This year’s Washington County Fair queen pageant will be mostly the same, just without an in-person audience.
The pageant will take place Sunday, July 19, at 7 p.m. during fair week.
Pageant organizer Heather Marek said the pageant will run as it always has.
“It will be the same as normal,” Marek said. “Candidates will be there, and the judges will be there. They will have the interviews, then at 7, they will take the stage and answer questions.”
The event will take place at the Washington High School auditorium but will not be open to the public. The event will instead be livestreamed at a link that will be made available before the event.
