Winfield-Mt. Union Homecoming Court

The Winfield-Mt. Union High School announced its Homecoming Court Friday, and has a week’s worth of fun activities planned this week, which will culminate in the Friday, Oct. 11 varsity football game against New London starting at 6:30 p.m. instead of the usual 7 p.m. Pictured are, from left, front row: Mary Guillen, Drake Watson, Payton Thornton and Anna Hudson; second row: Junaito Piper, Johndree Harris, Lauren Hagge, Theadora Urias and Jared Arnold; top row: Christian Gerot, Beh Hemsworth and Daunte Oepping. On Friday, the school will hold an assembly at 2:15 p.m. with a parade to follow. The school welcomes community floats/cars to participate. Those interested are encouraged to line up at 2:15 on the south side of the school. Mr. Edwards will be out there assisting with lineup.

Powder puff events will be at boom night on Wednesday, Oct. 9, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the large gym with coronation of King and Queen, followed by powderpuff volleyball and then moving out to the football field for football for the girls.
