The Greater Jefferson County Foundation would like to clarify the 2020 Grant Process. With the creation of the Disaster Relief Fund, it was at first recommended that non-Covid 19 grants be postponed until later in the year. After review, the grant committees have decided to include the capital/operational grant request applications.
President Kara Waugh explains, “In addition to accepting grant requests directly related to the COVID-19 response, the Greater Jefferson County Foundation is also accepting regular grant applications. If your organization has a request directly related to COVID19 response efforts, please complete the Disaster Recovery Fund application (1 -page grant application). If your organization has a grant request related to operations or capital projects that are not related to COVID19, please complete the regular grant application.”
Applications for the Disaster Recovery Fund will be reviewed as they are received through July 1. Applications for regular non-COVID 19 related grant requests will be reviewed following the close of the application deadline - July 1.
