Panther bowlers compete at L&M

LETTS — The Mt. Pleasant bowling team took part in a meet at Louisa-Muscatine on Saturday. The Panthers finished 12th in the boys standings with a final pinfall of 2,358, and 13th in the girls standings with a total pinfall of 1,827.

The Mt. Pleasant boys were led by Levi Mills, who rolled a 176 in his first game and a 155 in his second game to finish out at 331. Ethan Oilar was second, rolling a 171 and a 159 to close his round out at 330.

Cole Wohlleber rolled a 137 and a 167 to finish the round at 304. Logan White rolled a 157 and a 145 to score 302. Tyler Fitzpatrick roled a 130 and a 159 to finish at 289, and Justin Alldredge rolled a 105 and a 104 for a total of 209.

The Panther boys’ baker games went 136, 148, 156, 185 and 177.

Alexis Wohlleber led the Panther girls with a 350, rolling a 157 in her first game and a 193 in her second. The second-leading bowler for the girls was Arlouny Phosy, who rolled a 114 and 140 to finish at 154. Gillian Anderson rolled a 107 and a 131 to end the day at 238.

Danielle Muhs bowled a 96 and a 110 to finish her round at 206. Megan Smith rolled a 115 and a 72 to finish at 187, and Morelia Elias-Sixtos rolled 71 and 77 to close her round at 148.

The girls baker games went 125, 102, 90, 106, 169.

Mt. Pleasant will be at home on Thursday, Jan. 9, where they will host Washington and West Central.
